Yüksel Karadeniz was born in 1982 in Mersin and graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration in 2005. In the same year, he started working as an Assistant Legislative Specialist at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). He earned the title of Specialist in 2008 with his thesis on "Developments in Public Financial Management Understanding after the 1990s and the Case of Turkey." Between 2005 and 2014, he worked as a Legislative Specialist at the TBMM Budget Directorate, which supports the TBMM Plan and Budget Committee. In 2014, he was appointed as an Internal Auditor at the TBMM Internal Audit Unit. He completed his master's degree at Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Audit in Public Administration in 2016. While working at the TBMM Internal Audit Unit, he was appointed as Vice Chairman of Budget on July 21, 2016. Within the scope of his professional studies, he studied at the University of Sheffield, England in 2008 and completed an internship on the legislative process in the US Congress in 2010. Additionally, he participated in numerous training programs and projects in international organizations such as the EU, OECD, TAIEX, and the World Bank. In October 2019, he was appointed as the TBMM Chairman of Budget. On June 23, 2023, he was appointed as Chief Advisor and Cyprus Affairs Coordinator in the office of the Vice President of the Republic of Turkey. Yüksel Karadeniz has a very good command of English. He is married and has 2 children.
